Generally, the battery takes 2-4 hours to charge fully. The LED indicators flash ON/OFF during charging. When all the lights are solid, it is fully equipped.

3. Reset Your Segway Ninebot

Did you try resetting your Ninebot? If not, try it immediately. Here is how to reset the vehicle;

  1. Plug the charger into your scooter and turn ON the power supply.
  2. Now, press the “power” button to turn ON the scooter.

5. Broken Ports or Connectors

Moreover, the cable should fit properly into the charging port. Check the connectors whether are loose or broken. Likewise, examine the port on your Ninebot.

Does the cable wiggle or fit loosely? If yes, the port has some issues. Replacing the port can fix the problem. However, consult a professional for technical assistance.

6. Control Board is Damaged

Another cause is that the control board of your vehicle is damaged. It can happen due to an accident or water contact. The indicator stays green or red no matter charger is connected or not.
